Buffalo Trace Bourbon is an iconic bourbon, which shares its names with the famous award winning Distillery, Buffalo Trace. This rich and complex bourbon was crafted with tradition in mind, and is a great value for a smooth bourbon. It is produced from Mash Bill #1, like other great spirits such as Eagle Rare. It is a sour mash of corn, rye, and malted barely, which has a lower content of rye, then mash bill #2. This unique bourbon is smooth and sweet with earthy hints of oak and molasse's. On the Palate you'll find notes of vanilla, mingled with rich hints of toffee, and caramelized dried fruit. The finish is warm with a sweet lingering taste of anise on the back end.
