Description

My handmade frame allows you to create your own paper theatre. Take your storytime to the next level with my specialist books.

This type of storytelling comes from Japan and is called kamishibai which translates as paper theatre. You can create your own paper theatre with my wooden frame which is called a butai in Japanese.

The frame is 28.5cm in height and 39.5cm wide. It is compatible with traditional kamishibai stories.

My frame has been specially designed and made for us by Sandy Duncan on the Sidlaw Hills in Scotland.

Our frames are made from pine and PVA wood glue.  This is not a toy and it is not recommended to be used by children under the age of fourteen years.
