Native to South America and commonly called the Brazilian peppertree, Schinus terebinthifolia Raddi is a tree belonging to the Anacardiaceae family. Its fruit is the pink pepper seed. The plant is cultivated in Réunion, South America, Florida, New Caledonia, Brazil and Madagascar.
