Google's new update for Android Auto has reportedly added a diagnostic feature that assesses your USB cable or port to see if it is working as expected.Former XDA Developers editor-in-chief Mishaal Rahman shared the tool on his Twitter. Officially called the USB Startup Diagnostics, the tool essentially checks whether the cable is connecting while also checking the cable's quality. So in case you aren't able to see the cable diagnostics tool yet, chances are it will become available sometime in the near future.  Finding the right USB cable for your device can be quite the headache especially now that companies no longer take pride in shipping chargers and cables in the box.
