The lightweight construction, single sizing, and silicone grip panels made it possible to delete the thigh strap and still keep that famous Leatt non-slip fit. This knee guard meets all of our design criteria. By changing over to 3D-shaped impact gel, we achieved the minimalistic slim shape, whilst still keeping the CE Impact protection. Not quite as stiff as the C-Frame or X-Frame Braces, the glass-filled nylon chassis of the Z-Frame offers comfort while the carbon injected knee provides rigidity, reducing the chances of a ACL, Meniscus, and MCL injury. The Z-Frame is also CE certified as a medical device and as impact protection.

The all new X-Frame Hybrid Knee Brace is manufactured from Injected Carbon Composite and has a 40% slimmer hinge on the inside to provide superior bike feel, the outer hinge has metal gears for durable and precise movement. Leatt uses a separate sleeve with a certified impact protector built in to reduce the bulk in the knee area allowing freer movement when wearing race pants.
