Flat bottom can work with most of stoves, such as induction, electric, halogen, gas and other stoves. Detachable handle makes it could fit the oven.
Please don't forget to season it for first-use:
1. Clean the wok with detergent for first-use, wash and dry up
2. Add some oil over low heat
3. Use kitchen paper towel to rub the oil over every cornor of the wok
4. Turn off the heat when there is smoke
5. Leave the wok until it cools down, pour out the oil and clean the wok again.
6. You can repeat the steps for better non-stick performance.
Daily Maintenance:
1. Wash it clean with a mild detergent in warm water before using for the first time.
2. Do not heat empty cookware.
3. Allow cookware cool before immersing it in water or use warm water to wash it after cooking.
4. Carbon Steel Wok is perfectly safe to put into the dishwasher but in fact handwash make your pan last longer.
5. All in all, it is just a cookware so do not worry yourself too much how you should cook with it.
Common Issue and Solution:
Loss of “Non-stick Surface”: This can happen if you cooked acidic foods like tomatoes or vinegar in your carbon steel cookware. Basically, high-acidity foods can eat away the polymerized patina you've been cultivated, but there’s no reason to worry.
Re-season your pan with your method of choice — and remember to give it a good swipe with oil after every use. You will always get a new non-stick pan.
